Retired; Free at last, free at last!…

Funny how things happen,  six months ago Christi and I weren’t even thinking of retiring! We were happy rebuilding a RV Resort in south east Arizona while general managing another park in Southern California, we were told/promised we were 5% partners but none of that was true. When someone dangles a Golden Carrot in front of you you will pull that loaded cart anywhere you are told! That’s how Evil Men work. They smile in your face and stab you in the back! Let’s not dwell…

Not sure if you heard,

Christi and I had an odd accident on Friday(7-3-23) at a live concert we hosted at our resort. 

We were sitting in a double rocking chair when one leg snapped and sent us both head over heels And over a knee wall where we fell 3 feet and landed on our heads in a gravel filled planter box. We are okay but pretty banged up. We drove to San Diego and are convalescing on the beach for a couple of days. It’s Tuesday morning and I have decided that I /we need to retire with in a year or so. There are places we want to go in our rv and this brush with fate has given us a new look at life.

I’m selling all but 4 of my guitars, maybe 5😇.

Keeping a Foley Master, a Gretsch, a Teye Master and one other, okay maybe two😍🎶🎼

I need to be with what I have a that fits in the Bus. 

Well the year turned out to be two months! I asked again for our partnership shares in writing (as I’ve done for the last 3+ years) and were told we didn’t have real shares!?! We have equity shares that are worth nothing unless we stay and work for Sud-wages till they sell (like never) the asset! Well F*%# That! That wasn’t the deal! Okay, let’s not dwell 🤯🤢🤮. September 1st was our first day of retirement bliss! We had so many friends at the park and we built such a wonderful music program Christi & I made a deal with the devil…Again…to stay an run the music at the park for no $$$ save a rv spot😵‍💫

 Question?;if you don’t know you are making a Deal with a Devil is it still a sin?

  Well that deal lasted about a month, more lies and changes to the agreement and restrictions along with ridiculous oversight forced us to call it Quits!

 We are now parked in Benson Az running our music program at Pato Blanco Lakes RV Resort. We are also spreading our music all over the county and loving it! We formed a new band called “The Gray” and preform country, lite rock and blues, a four piece band called “4play”, rebirth of the “Michael Hargis Show” and Christi and I are working on a Duo show! Wow!!! These along with Jams keep us busy. We are having a blast! It’s all on Facebook 🤩

Please understand that we have been put through the wringer with these so called partners and we were so naive, trusting and most of all “Stupid”!

F*%# those Evil monsters! We are still here and we are spreading our love and kindness to the deserving masses! We love and care about our friends and family it’s just that things are different now…. We are retired 😇
