Hi Michael and Christi,

Please read the note below from the therapist of the youth who received the guitar. This youth is also interested in lessons. Would your guitar teacher still be interested in doing lessons on site?

Thank you,

Cristina Greenberg

Good morning, Cristina!

If you would, please forward this to the parties behind the generous donation of the Epiphone acoustic/electric guitar two weeks ago.  Thank you!

To Whom it May Concern,

Since I have been serving Easterseals Blake Foundation at the AVIVA location for the last several months, I have been told by its staff about this phenomenon called “The Aviva Magic.”  The staff describe this event as the repeated, timely, and miraculous provision toward need, whether the needs are mentioned aloud or not.  I recently had the opportunity to witness such a phenomenon two weeks ago.  A gentleman in a cowboy hat delivered a guitar as a donation, and no more than an hour later, a young person with whom I am familiar, already a brass musician, articulated a longing for a guitar.

When he shared this desire for a guitar, coupled with his lack of access to one, knowing that a guitar had JUST been delivered to the organization, I could hardly contain myself.  I immediately asked different individuals around AVIVA about the nature of the guitar donation, clarifying if the guitar was set aside for some other purpose.  When the general consensus became clear, and it appeared that “The Aviva Magic” had provided once again, the guitar was set aside for this young person.

I wish I could do justice with words to express the shock, surprise, and unexpected joy that the young person showed upon seeing the guitar and learning that it was a gift.  I wish that I could communicate the speechlessness that this young person demonstrated for minutes, mouth agape, beaming from ear to ear, unsure of what to say.  Just know that your donation has made an impact on a young person’s life, sowing hope and a positive memory that won’t soon be forgotten.  Thank you for that.

Warmly,

YUMA, AZ....We're back! Well sort of...Can we talk?

A message from Michael & Christi Hargis:
YUMA, AZ....We're back! Well sort of...Can we talk?
It's been a long year, hasn't it? After managing a large park in Tucson for a year, we found it was just not the right fit for us. Although we loved our wonderful residents dearly, upper management left a lot to be desired.
As fate would have it, we unexpectedly reconnected with Matt and made the decision to work together again. Our role now will be as general managers and partners. We will strive to bring back the customer service, activities and programs that have been lost along the way. And don't forget the music, music, music!
We are currently looking for a new manager couple for Sans End. We will be here during this process and transition. We will then move to St. David to open The Lakes at St. David RV Resort. Although we will be based in St. David, we will make frequent visits to Sans End throughout the season. Please feel free to message us or call the office with any questions or concerns. We look forward to seeing all your smiling faces next season!
